Cosmic Boys welcome Nico Cabeza to their label LEGEND. It’s a two-track EP of high velocity techno, which blends powerful synth lines with thundering percussion. Nico Cabeza is an Italian born artist who now living in Berlin, has released his tracks on labels such as Monika Kruse’s Terminal M, Christian Smith’s Tronic and Ramon Tapia’s Say What? imprint.

This is Nico Cabeza’s first release on Legend, but the tracks explosive style perfectly fit the label, which has also featured artists ranging from Space 92 to the Cosmic Boys themselves.

The EP’s title track ‘Ragnarok’ opens the release with a dreamscape before launching into the percussion and pulsating synth line. Ramping up the tension it unleashes the compelling energy of the lead synth before the euphoria of the breakdown. Dropping the percussion back in for an explosive finish, the tracks peak time energy is relentless.

‘Nucleosinstesi Primordiale’ is second of the two originals, and its murky groove is underpinned by an ominous bassline. Dark and twisted, the sinister vocals of the breakdown set the scene perfectly before the kick drums slam back in. Menacing and full of murderous intent, this techno monster is hungry for a party, and stalks the dance floor for its next set of lucky victims.
