Sidney Charles’ Heavy House Society welcomes up & coming UK artist Danny Snowden to the burgeoning imprint releasing an impressive 4 tracker titled ‘Mist EP’.

Danny Snowden has really begun to sculpt his sound, which takes heavy inspiration from the 90s classic house sound, his tracks are heavily groove orientated, with touches of soul and full of club-worthy energy. He has previously had highly visible releases on PIV, Rawsome LTD and Whoyostro and now Heavy House Society. His music has been supported by the likes of Prunk, Dale Howard and clearly Sidney Charles.

For his debut release on Heavy House Society, Snowden delivers a driving yet light and uplifting 4 track EP. The first in the EP is the title track ‘Mist’ an energetic bouncing groove leads from the off with Snowden adding that touch of funk that is synonymous with Heavy House Society releases with an intricately woven combination of synths creating that uplifting vibe.

Track 2 is ‘Neo’s Scene’ a grooving lively funky track that kicks off with a dynamic bassline and again gets its funky element from the organ jazz licks which combine in perfect harmony with the chord stabs pads all top off with an exquisite arrangement and classy vocal sample.

Next up is ‘New Chapter’ which has a spring in its step, delivers power when it comes out of the breaks and an overall groove that just makes you want to get on down and get funky and the dance floor with a smile on your face.

Last but not least is ‘The Right Time’ which is the deepest track on the EP as it’s laced with atmospheric chords pushed back in the mix to give the track depth and space for the seductive organ melody and sweet vocal samples, and is a joy to listen to. This is an outstanding release from the fast rising UK talent of Danny Snowden.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘The Right Time’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
