Vivrant’s second release of 2022 brings a stacked remix pack with offerings from a who’s who of the next-generation electronic talent. The project pairs Vivrant’s first lady MOLØ’s stupendous five-track debut EP ‘Luma’ with five of the scene’s most enthralling names in Germany’s Tim Engelhardt and Powel, Spain’s Tibi Dabo and fellow Swedes DJ Clea and Harald Björk.

Luma’ EP – Reimagined breathes new life into what’s already pegged as a future Vivrant classic. Sonic styles in the pack range from Watergate mainstay Tim Engelhardt’s technical and ethereal take on lead track ‘Luma’, Crosstown Rebels star Tibi Dabo’s choppy and groovy reinterpretation of ‘Norrø’, Anjunadeep standout Powel’s cinematic and serene approach to ‘Bennebol’, renaissance women DJ Clea’s eclectic and experimental remode of ‘Kogi’, and last but not least Cocoon’s man of the hour Harald Björk’s enchanting rework of MOLØ and Jeremy Olander’s ‘Vanadis’.

After being the talk of the town on the local underground scene in Stockholm for years, MOLØ was discovered by Jeremy Olander in 2018 after submitting a promo mix with hopes of getting an opportunity to open for the Swedish star. The mix made an impression. The young talent landed not only an opening slot, she was also signed to his label and management.

MOLØ proceeded with releasing her debut original on Vivrant a mere 18 months after opening up Logic for the first time. The single ‘Vanadis’, a collaboration with Olander, streamed over 1 million on Spotify alone, and was followed up with five-track solo debut ‘Luma’ EP in late 2020. The project made #3 on Beatport, received coverage by Beatportal, Swedish National TV, Swedish National Radio P3, Radio FG, Kiss FM and saw support from Moscoman, Nick Warren, Kevin De Vries, Above & Beyond, Guy J, Whomadewho and more. She capped the year off with a nomination in the dance-category at the Swedish Independent Music Awards.

Since then there’s been no rest for the wicked. MOLØ has released remixes on Moscoman’s Disco Halal and UK powerhouse Anjunadeep for Eli & Fur, originals on Marc Romboy’s Systematic as well as hard-hitting peak time single ‘Vemode’ on Vivrant, which received a world premiere on BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix by Whomadewho.
