A unique pairing of The Cube Guys remixing Avicii’s track ‘Malo’ is due August 26th on Australia’s leading electronic label Vicious Recordings.

Here, The Cube Guys lay their shuffling latin influenced drums under their remix, building it with great percussion, a rolling bassline and filtering melodic hooks from the original. Then comes the still awesome lead vocal. The remix leaves space throughout for the vocal to shine always retains their shuffle of percussion underneath providing a peak time latin house jam. One for the Summer and a great inclusion in the 30 Years of Vicious celebrations.

This release forms another release in the massive ‘30 Years of Vicious’ celebrations, as the independent label showcases their biggest hits and global chart toppers, reworked for 2022 by a stream of top producers including Mark Knight, Joshwa, The Cube Guys, Sgt Slick, Pax, Mighty Mouse, Needs No Sleep, Super Disco Club, KPD, CASSIMM, Soul Central, Hotmood and more.

Vicious Recordings 30th anniversary was kickstarted by Don Diablo’s remix of ‘My Feelings For You’ with all profits donated to the Tim Bergling foundation in honor of his friend and inspiration. It achieved #1 on Beatport’s Mainstage Chart and accrued over 1 million streams in its first week of release.
