Ilija Djokovic launches his Point Beyond Records label with ‘Quasar’, backed with a remix from Flug. The Serbian artist whose releases on Drumcode, Filth on Acid, and Terminal M have picked up support from the likes of Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex, Tale of Us and many more since his 2010 debut. Having worked with Paul Kalkbrenner, Nina Kraviz, Pan-Pot, Solomun, Loco Dice, and others, the DJ/producer now readies his own imprint, delivering a knockout single with Argentinian artist Flug on remix duties.

Leading the release, the original mix of ‘Quasar’ sees rumbling kicks, sharp synthesis, and emotive breakdowns come together for a hair-raising peak time track. For his remix, Flug, who has released on the likes of CLR, SOMA, Rekids, and more, ups the tempo, combining dense atmospherics, rolling drums, and mammoth drops for a tense and hard-hitting interpretation.
