Liverpool’s James Organ returns to Yousef’s Circus Recordings with his first full EP on the label, ‘The Cosmos Of Life’. The UK artist has been rising through the ranks after a string of well-received releases already turning the heads of industry titans Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Sasha and Hot Since 82 just to name a few.

“I made this EP with the dance floor in mind; with visions at a rave in the Temples of Abu Simbel to the corners of Panorama Bar in Berlin. I hope this shows my love for Tribal / Melodic and Organic house music as much as possible; a sound I’ve grown to love over the past few years. Groove laden dance floor tracks, which drift away from the norm.” – James Organ

The expertly crafted 5-track EP explores the crossover between tribal, melodic and organic house. With Johannesburg slam poet and spoken word artist Lazarusman offering a worthy vocal twist on lead track ‘The Cosmos Of Life’, hypnotising vocal whispers on the ‘Spirit Of Sheba’ and skipping percussive drum loops on ‘Return Sense’ give us a firm nod into Organ’s tribal influences. Whilst ‘The Darkness’ and ‘Electric Zoo’ round off the latest release with a more heavyweight and club-focused approach to his signature house sound.

Over recent years, James Organ has firmly established himself amongst the house music circuit releasing on a series of notable labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, Knee Deep In Sound, Last Night On Earth and Saved Records along with being championed as a one to watch by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Jaguar.

‘The Cosmos Of Life’ EP sees Organ deliver another essential club release straight from a dizzying gigging schedule at Circus, Parklife, The Warehouse Project, El Row and most recently the Steel Yard at this year’s Creamfields.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Spirit Of Sheba’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
