VOLTA is a new label from Victor Ruiz and he brings the first release ‘Pura Vida’, which is a statement of the music palette the Brazilian Techno head is capable of. Victor of course has put his music out on some of the world’s biggest labels like Drumcode, Terminal M, Factory93, Balance Music, and more, and with the start of his own label, be prepared to see his studio prowess further still.

The opening track ‘What’s That Called?’ sets the tone of the EP. An energetic vocal lead helps to form an emotional and bombastic anthem. With nasty stabs and 3D sound design, this track brings all the elements Ruiz has to show.

‘Veritas’ shows another side of him as an artist. Introvert, hypnotic and profound. A loopy synth line takes you on a journey throughout the whole song until a cinematic / out-of-this-world sound comes into play.

The title track ‘Pura Vida’ closes the ensemble with pure majesty. A song meant to bring joy and happiness every time it’s played. With beautiful melodies, heavenly vocals and a powerful drive that explodes any dance floor on the way.

This first release proves that VOLTA is a record label to keep an eye on in the future.
