Haitian-born, New York-based producer Francis Mercier has been reshaping the house music landscape with a culturally rich sound incorporating elements of afro, deep, melodic and worldly influences. This time, he’s teaming up with Jamaica’s legendary reggae band Black Uhuru and the gifted Moroccan guitarist Neyl Nejjai on a star-studded collaboration and full-circle moment for Mercier. “Welcome To Dinna” is a modern classic whose vivacious groove weaves through spry hand percussion, feverish guitar play, and the group’s iconic, enduring vocals. The single marks Francis’ second appearance on the imprint, following his breakout single ‘Sete’ alongside BLOND:ISH.
