Prodigious artist Fideles returns to Afterlife with a mesmerizing slice of dance floor elation. A longstanding member of the Afterlife family, Fideles encapsulates the label’s emotive and diverse sound. ‘Overcome’ has a vintage soul encased in futuristic flesh and blood.

Inspired by their nightly ventures, the title track draws muses from Fideles’ travels, performances, and intimate moments, translating their collective experience as a duo into melodies that transcend their unique individual quirks. Ominous yet divine, its somber undertones are gracefully juxtaposed by Be No Rain’s ethereal vocals, which add a soul-stirring dimension to the mix. This track has been a fundamental piece in Fideles’ performances, with visually impactful appearances in Tale of Us’ sets at their Afterlife shows at Printworks London, Zamna Tulum, Brooklyn Mirage New York, OffWeek Barcelona, and beyond.

A sonic drama unfolds on this cut, willing us to overcome whatever obstacles stand in our way. Globally-renowned duo CamelPhat return to the label after their scintillating collab with Anyma. This time they remix ‘Night After Night’, hitting us with a version that is brimming with vibrancy and highly potent emotional content.

“We asked Camelphat to remix ‘Night After Night’ because we love their music,” said Fideles. “They are such talented musicians. Ever since we produced it, we’ve felt like they would be the perfect artists to remix it.”

‘Overcome’ is fueled by the emotions Fideles has been picking up from their fans during their performances. Flawlessly relaying their overwhelming feelings of unity with their audience, it is a melodic escapade that willing us to overcome whatever obstacles stand in our way. With resonating sentimental synthlines, tickling percussion, lingering shadowy bassline, and a dance floor ready kick, the second track beautifully complements the first while teasing their experimental approach.

The ‘Night After Night EP’ is a testament to the Italian pair’s exceptional talent and relentless passion for creating music that speaks to the soul. The seamlessly tailored club record – equally ideal for daydreaming – has kept fans on their toes for long enough and is on its way to being a standout EP of the year.
