Matador returns to his own RUKUS label with another of his vital offerings, one of which a collaboration with Artche on vocals.

Matador is one of the underground’s most prolific and assured artists. Composing everything from stripped back minimal to powerful main room sounds and much of it comes on his ever essential RUKUS label. He kicks off here with his Blue Dreams collaboration with Artche, a masterfully melodic cut that has you gazing in wonder at the rippling cosmic chords as the deep, steamy beats roll below. Add in the smokey vocal which brings the soul and you have a real winner here. ‘Moonlight’ then hypnotizes over seven minutes of deeply atmospheric house. The rubbery drums invite you in and the deft synths and subtle background vocals add to the spell.
