Celebrating the start of the hot season, Diamond Dealer is back with ‘Shine,’ a feel-good summer anthem alongside the legendary house vocalist Roland Clark on connected.

Says Diamond Dealer, “Every DJ in South Africa has a Roland Clark accapella in his/her DJ set, he’s a house music legend! I felt that Afro-house has become so dark lately with melodic and techno influences and I wanted to bring that feel-good house music feeling to the genre again. We started that vibe with ‘Peah’ earlier this year and now with ‘Shine’ I wanted to bring that feel sound into summer.‘

With over 15 years of experience as a music producer and DJ, Diamond Dealer is one of South Africa’s leading exponents of the Afro scene. He has his own fresh take on the sound having been there since day one and is now exporting it around the world. He started off the year on a high, collaborating with Afro-house sensation Idd Aziz on a track Pete Tong described as “the brilliant ‘Peah’” when championing it on the radio. It was further supported by Carl Cox, Shimza and many more who helped it climb to the top of the Afro house charts.

The wonderful ‘Shine’ is an impossibly uplifting track with classic house piano chords over a smooth rolling beat. Roland’s vocal is a spine-tinging one full of positivity and rousing energy. It all adds up to a surefire summer anthem that will bring crowds of any size together as one with their hands in the air.
