Super Sapiens is a brand new label from acclaimed underground stalwart Luca Saporito, aka one-half of Audiofly who announced their split last year after 22 years. He remixes the first release, which comes from Xinobi.

Super Sapiens is an already-established event series that hosted this summer at Akasha in Ibiza, as well as further afield across Europe, North Africa and the US. The label serves as a platform to uplift new talents and release co-productions with Santiago Garcia, Amine K and many more. Each one will find Luca, who has released on plenty of the best labels in the world while playing at every major club and festival with Audiofly, redefining his solo sound.

Behind the first single is Xinobi, aka Portuguese artist Bruno Cardoso. He is the Discotexas imprint co-founder with plenty of great tracks to his name there and other vital labels. His beautiful ‘Sugar Code’ is a spine-tingling deep house cut with twinkling synths arcing high above the melancholic chords. Their bittersweet feelings captivate the heart as distant pads add further cosmic depth. It’s an artfully realised track that makes an indelible mark.

Luca Saporito’s remix layers in hypnotic hits and wispy chords for a different sort of enchantment. The drums hit a little more upright and will carry the dance floor away to the stars.
