Rising techno DJ and producer DI SUN returns to the deadmau5-run mau5trap with her latest single ‘Power’

Rising techno DJ and producer DI SUN returns to the deadmau5-run mau5trap with her latest single ‘Power.’ She wastes no time in ‘Power,’ immediately thrusting listeners into its menacing synth licks and sultry vocal display before catapulting off the edge into bass-boosted fury. With a penchant for fusing techno and hard dance, DI SUN crafts a powerful, rousing soundscape.

Hailing from China and currently based in Los Angeles, California, DI SUN’s musical journey began in childhood with traditional Chinese instruments. After mastering the Guzheng, DI’s passion for music burgeoned into something more intense: full-fledged techno affinity. Equipped with classical training, DI received her higher education in Musical Performance, opting to explore electronic music production. Deeply inspired by the likes of Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani, and Eli Brown, DI’s impressive sonic journey has landed her on labels like Drumcode, Nervous Records, and AfterTraxx, to name a few. As she marches full steam ahead into 2024, listeners can expect techno odysseys from the upstart DJ and producer with more releases on esteemed electronic labels.

“In my life, the unwavering support, understanding, and love from my family are the primary factors that fill me with ‘Power,’” said DI SUN on her new single. “My parents consistently encourage me to pursue my dreams, emphasizing their wholehearted support for whatever path I choose, only wishing for my happiness. I am deeply grateful for this support from my parents. Whenever I feel unhappy or frustrated, I give them a call, and they share profound advice based on their own experiences. They are a formidable pillar in my life, injecting me with tremendous strength.”

Throughout her impressive career, DI SUN has garnered support from the likes of David Guetta, Space92, and Marten Hørger, while her music has climbed the ranks of Apple Music & iTunes Techno Top 10’s, and Beatport’s Top 100.

“This endeavor was a self-discovery for me,” said DI. “And I hope you all enjoy it.”
