Betoko is back on his own OKO Recordings, this time alongside fellow techno legends Pig&Dan for the new Twisted EP.

Betoko is a London-based Mexican who has long been shaping the underground with his leftfield sounds on this label as well as Diynamic and many more. For more than a Decade Pig&Dan have been producing musical adventures that hold their signature sound on labels such as Bedrock and Drumcocde and alongside Betoko they manage to cook up all new sounds once more.

Twisted kicks off with a heavy groove and sparking synth sequins that rise up through the mix. A dark bassline holds the track together and will keep dancers locked as the drama unfolds up top. After a stylish, paired back dub mix comes Roughness, another fulsome track with a rugged bassline phrase that never quits and twisted synths up top. It’s an invigorating world sound with great melodies at the break down and plenty of potential to blow up the dance floor.
