Capoon returns to Human By Default with a trio of immersive house soundscapes.

Antwerp-based artist Capoon draws upon a rich, organic palette with a penchant for emotional musical storytelling that has previously taken him to Mobilee, Rebellion and Human By Default. Following his 2022 ‘Mi Mem’ EP, Capoon returns to Bedouin’s lauded imprint with the three-track ‘All Of My Heart’ EP.

Opener ‘All Of My Heart’ is an elegant deep house groove that fizzes with soft synth lines as dancing melodies pepper the lively rhythm, chopped-up vocal harmonies, and sombre piano chords. Then comes ‘Yesterday’, seven spine-tingling minutes of epic house magic featuring vocals from Vicky Kroon, a singer, songwriter and DJ who has played everywhere from Fabric to Pacha. The heartbroken keys ripple across a deep and moody bassline as Vicky’s tender vocals wash over the intoxicating affair. Last of all, ‘Victoria’ builds on subtle layers of whispery vocals, late-night melodies and candle-lit drums that sink you into a dramatic world of swirling emotions.
