Following on from 2023’s impressive installment, Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s MÜSE imprint is back with its annual MMW VA series. Marking the return of the highly anticipated event, the label welcomes newcomers Denis Ago and Misha (US) alongside returning talents Bizen Lopez, Jho Roscioli and Karretero for a round of slick and effortlessly groovy productions.

A&R and label favourite Bizen Lopez kicks off with the lively ‘I Got You’, combining funky basslines, catchy rap vocals and skippy percussion before Italian talent Denis Ago implements a moody groove with low-slung, rolling beats on ‘Blindfolded’. Next, Jho Roscioli, known for releases on CUFF and Nervous, shows off crisp drums and sleazy house hits for an evocative rhythmic haze with ‘Truth Or Dare’, followed by Karretero’s fusion of murky low-ends and lush tones pulsating throughout ‘That Dark Night’. Tying things together, MÜSE newcomer Misha (US) closes the stellar package with ‘Take Two’, unveiling skipping hats, warping synth lines, and tripped-out vocals.
