Sandhog makes a welcome return to Exploited Club, taking the limelight with formidable single ‘Berlin.’

In true Sandhog style, a small amount of potent ingredients – each with a life of their own – build up a highly memorable recording that speaks to the power of simplicity.

A scorching vocoder burns at the core of the track while a cobblestone synth tumbles along, throwing out sparks as it goes. Galvanized analogue drums flesh out a burly mood as reverb sends signals rebounding off the walls of a warehouse.

This is potent music built for big-room spaces – mournful and motivating in equal measure.
