‘Sa Lana’ is an enthralling new Afro House release from Dylan-S, one of Kenya’s top DJs and the owner of Ewaso Records. The track features the soulful vocals of Simila, infusing traditional Luo (Nilotic Language of East Africa) prayer with a contemporary dance beat.

The title ‘Sa Lana’ is derived from the Luo language spoken in East African Kenya and translates to a prayer. Simila’s enchanting voice takes centre stage, weaving traditional African lyrics with contemporary soundscapes, creating an immersive listening experience that resonates with the spiritual essence of the song.

The original version leans towards a club-oriented style, designed to energize dance floors with its infectious beats and rhythmic flair. Two remixes accompany the original track, offering melodic variations from Italy’s Animalic Drum and Zambia’s Kreative Nativez.

‘Sa Lana’ will be released by the Mozambican label My Other Side of the Moon on April 26 and is a must-listen for any Afro House fans.
