With the release of their next major project edging nearer and nearer, legendary electronic pairing Booka Shade’s fruitful studio spree continues to flourish, showcasing their ever-evolving sound on their home label Blaufield Music as they enter the 21st year of their renowned career.
Linking with Montreal-based DJ/producer and vocalist Gab Rhome, known for releases and material via illustrious labels such as Disco Halal, All Day I Dream, and Anjunadeep, amongst others, early May welcomes the release of the trio’s first production together with the captivating sonics of ‘The Sun.’
Blooming from the spiralling lead synths, hazy textures, rich piano keys, and Rhome’s entrancing vocals, all carried above the track’s absorbing bassline, ‘The Sun’ delivers a warming, sun-soaked production shaped for the incoming summer months in Ibiza and beyond.
The single is taken from their forthcoming album which will grace the airwaves on June 7th. They’ve also announced a few accompanying USA tour dates.
