Francesca Lombardo has cultivated a sound of her own via an emotional narrative of dreamy soundscapes, stirring melodies and hypnotic rhythms. Criss-crossing the globe as a DJ and live performer, she’s played monumental shows and built up a formidable back-catalogue of music on esteemed labels: Crosstown Rebels, Mobilee, Leftroom, Poker Flat, Bedrock, and her own Echoe and Echolette imprints amongst others.

On the horizon, Francesca will partner with Anthony Middleton and Bartolomeo for a new event series called ‘Ordinary People,’ which aims to bring back the magnetism of the underground to the crowd. This party is all about magic and taking dancers to that place where they can get lost on the floor, forgetting about other things that are not welcome there, where music is the only focus. For the event’s launch, the trio hold a residency at Akasha in Ibiza before taking Ordinary People around the world in the winter. 

At the end of the summer, her collaboration with Francesco Tristano will see the light of day on Maison d’Etre. Stay tuned for another release on her very own Echolette sooner rather than later.

With this DJ mix, I aimed to gift listeners a blend of tracks that encapsulates my style and some of the music I love to mix, listen, dig, sing, play, and produce. While I believe this set is ideally suited for a sunny open air festival, it is intended to be enjoyed in any setting!
