rumu is a London born and raised artist of Mauritian ancestry, who grew up in the electronic music hotbed of North London. Surrounded by UKG and Grime from an early age, he draws from references of all corners of dance music, packaged up into an experimental club style which has won admirers from stations such as BBCR1, Rinse FM, NTS and Balamii.

Releases on Dusky’s 17 Steps imprint, Scuffed Recordings and Running Back, and has seen DJ support from Ben UFO, Logic1000, Jossy Mitsu, Raji Rags and more, with press support on Mixmag and DJ Mag. Worldwide tour dates include; Pickle Factory, E1 (Dusky), Night Tales, Lost Paradise Sydney, Lost Sundays Sydney (Daphni + Cinthie) and Club Atelier Amsterdam.

This week, we warmly welcome rumu with an eclectic, electrifying testament to his expertly obscure curation skills. Enjoy!
