When We Dip: Mike Gannu debuts on Atlant with 'Henko' EP

Behind the alias Mike Gannu stands a DJ and producer celebrated as one of the most promising emerging artists in the melodic techno scene today.

Since 2009, he has been deeply involved in the world of DJing, and more recently in music production. His musical approach is characterized by its energy, his ability to take the audience on a journey, and his taste for club vibes blended with melodic and tribal elements.

He has solidified his position in the melodic techno scene with releases on some of the most influential labels. Recently, he has released music on Sementa, the prestigious label of Glowal, created a remix on his own label, Eklektisch, and launched a track on Species, the label of the German duo Mia Mendi. All of these releases have been in collaboration with his partner Fat Cosmoe, highlighting his constant evolution and presence at the forefront of electronic music.

Mike Gannu is also known for his role as label manager for Fayer and Eklektisch, working alongside his good friend Edu Imbernon. Together, they have positioned these labels at the forefront of the electronic music scene.

Currently, Mike Gannu is a key pillar within the Fayer project, led by Edu Imbernon. As a visible figure at each event, he has played a crucial role in showcasing artists like Dixon, Jimi Jules, Innellea, Artbat, Maceo Plex, and Denis Horvat, among many others.

Mike Gannu is a fun-loving, sensitive, and hard-working individual with a restless soul constantly seeking new sounds and life experiences. Having lived in dynamic locations like London and the iconic island of Ibiza, he has been inspired to dedicate himself professionally to the creation and dissemination of electronic music, with a clear goal: to transmit feelings and sensations to people through music and dance.

In addition to his label and collaborative work, he’s just launched a solo EP, ‘Henko’ on BOg’s label, Atlant. Incorporating tribal influences and ancestral sounds, the artist further demonstrates his versatility and capacity to create powerful melodic techno tracks.
