Brothers Sven and Lars, AKA Monkey Safari, are mainstays of Europe’s underground house scene. They have long dealt in atmospheric house music but have continually evolved with each new outing on labels like their own Good Vibes From Paradise, Get Physical and many more. As DJs, they have taken their expressive grooves everywhere, from Time Warp to Awakenings and plenty of cult clubs in between. More than a decade into their careers, they continue to surprise and subvert with this latest remix.

It finds them tackling Helsloot’s epic emotional adventure ‘One Step’ from back in January. It becomes a brilliantly elegant house lullaby in their capable hands, with Jono McCleery’s vulnerable vocals soaring over the sleek drums and pensive piano chords. The underlapping grooves will sweep dancers up in a quietly joyous reverie as the luxuriant pads leave long, painterly trails in their wake. The release also comes with the original version of the single for those who missed it the first time around; it picked up considerable support on its initial release from the likes of John Digweed, Birds of Mind and Martin Garrix.
