Anthony Middleton, aka one half of accomplished duo Audiofly, returns to revive his Maison D’Etre label. This new release reflects his mission to offer up fad-free sounds that transcend fleeting fashions and instead lay down timeless house grooves.

Maison D’Etre is a label known for championing timeless underground sounds. First established over a decade ago, it has always stood apart from mainstream trends, focusing instead on deep, thoughtful, and innovative soundscapes. Following a period of dormancy, the label is now back with a fresh selection of new sounds from both established and emerging talents. The label’s ethos revolves around offering artists a platform for creative freedom and encourages them to explore house, minimal, deep house, left-field, and ambient genres without commercial constraints. Artistry and experimentation are key as the label aims to push boundaries while still keeping an ear on the dance floor.

The brilliant ‘Bad Timing’ opens up with deep, elastic drums and bass and wispy synths that add deft details to the groove. A sensuous vocal drifts in and out to tease the crowd, as medleys rain down and add extra energy. ‘Let It Go’ is another perfectly stripped back house cut with a compelling rhythm and masterful sound design. Soothing pads and more warped leads all hook in the mind while this alluring late night track unfolds in style.

This is the first in a series of releases that will establish Maison D’Etre and its mission of producing music that not only captivates audiences now but endures for years to come.

You can now listen to the full premiere ‘Let It Go’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
