Soma label heads, Slam, close out the year with a superbly crafted EP, showcasing their hypnotic & direct driving sound on the ‘Flicker’ EP. This latest release encompasses various disciplines and strips things down to a pure and introspective heads-down-dancefloor vision.

Title track ‘Flicker’ has all that usual Slam drive and attitude as rolling drums and sharp percussion are bolstered with a pulsing, warping synth hook. ‘Volitant’ delves deep as subaquatic atmospheres and tones are processed perfectly, delivering a backdrop of hypnotism. ‘Aggregation’ strikes the final blow in this latest Slam release as driving and distorted synths sweep across a dynamic and vigorous track.
