Mojave Grey drop genre-defining desert dance album ‘Monument,’ complete with Joshua Tree release party

Mojave Grey, the innovative duo known for their genre-defining blend of desert and dance music, are excited to announce their debut album, ‘Monument’ out on November 15th, 2024. The album has been previewed through the successful releases of singles ‘Faith,’ ‘Feel Alive,’ and ‘Timing,’ each garnering anticipation for what promises to be a groundbreaking project.

Vocalist Zander Bleck and Guitarist Michael Pozzi, the pair that comprise Mojave Grey, have redefined electronic music with their deep roots in rock and roll. Their music transcends traditional boundaries, bridging the visceral energy of live performances with the polished aesthetics of studio production. Drawing inspiration from the rugged landscapes of Joshua Tree, Mojave Grey’s music is a tapestry of soundscapes that evoke both the tranquility and the wild unpredictability of nature.

“‘Monument’ is our desert dance debut to the world.  This album is our conscious offering and statement that we are here to stay. The album is meant to be enjoyed as a listening journey all the way through alone or with friends. On a long drive along the highway or at a party. Lose yourself and transport to a place wherever your own personal monument may be.”

‘Faith’ introduces the journey with its exploration of the unknown, blending dark melodies with a compelling dance beat. ‘Feel Alive’ captures the essence of vivid, present moments through powerful vocals and dynamic electronic house production. ‘Timing’ explores life’s synchronicities. ‘There’s A Way,’ the focus track on the album, exemplifies Mojave Grey’s ethos—navigating through darker, introspective territories, embodying emotional depth and inspiration that reflect their journey towards something greater. It features ripping synths accompanied with a hard guitar line. Each track not only stands on its own but also contributes to a larger narrative of artistic evolution and depth.

Born in the stark beauty of Joshua Tree, California, Mojave Grey is a symbiosis of rich Western roots and transcendent rock elements, intertwined with mesmerizing dance beats and spiritual undertones. The duo crafts a unique brand of electronica which they call “desert dance music,” as if a James Bond film was scored by Mark Knopfler.

To celebrate the launch of their debut album, Mojave Grey will host a special album release party on November 16th, at the scenic venue Nowhere California in Joshua Tree. This exclusive event promises to be an immersive live experience, encapsulating the essence of their music against the backdrop of Joshua Tree’s iconic landscapes.
