At just 22 years old, Brazilian DJ/producer nocapz. has already built an impressive catalogue of releases on labels like Nervous Records, SOLOTOKO, and Organic Pieces. This year, a standout moment in his career came with the release of ‘Coming For Ya’ on Gruuv—a summer anthem that was heavily supported by industry heavyweights ANOTR and quickly became a dancefloor hit. Now, as the year winds down, he takes the next step in his journey with his label debut on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, delivering the bass-fuelled four-track ‘More Love’ EP, which also features a collaboration with fellow Brazilian artist Marian (BR).

“After a year with more than 10 releases, ‘More Love’ EP certainly is one of the works I’m most proud of. The first three tracks of this EP were produced in one week, and every Jamie Jones support during his Paradise residency in Ibiza meant a lot to me. It felt like I was daydreaming. This four-track release represents nocapz. in its purest form as it brings to life all my influences of club culture through energetic basslines and classic rave synths. I’m beyond excited to be releasing this catalogue on Hot Creations alongside Marian (BR), who is a big friend of mine and one of the best producers I know.” – nocapz.

Kicking off with thick, pounding beats, ‘More Love’ features chopped vocals with a nostalgic vibe that seamlessly blend into a deep, bass-heavy groove. Keeping the momentum, ‘Getting Heard’ drives forward with quick, bouncy beats and heavy synths that build a wave of intensity to the dancefloor. ‘One Shot’ packs a punch with thumping kicks, keeping the EP’s energy fierce and pushing the track to its peak intensity. Closing out, Marian joins on the seductive funk of ‘Midnight Thoughts,’ where smooth, intriguing rhythms flow around a glistening clank of vibrant percussion.
