Haskell’s decade-long journey through electronic music is marked by his embrace of tech-house’s rhythmic propulsion and groove-focused minimalism. A fixture on the global circuit, he has graced stages from Ibiza to Dubai, delivering sets that pulse with kinetic energy and supporting legendary artists such as Carl Cox. His selections oscillate between deep cuts and crowd-pleasers, always grounded in the percussive heft of tech-house, and occasionally flirting with the raw, visceral edge of peak-time house.

Haskell’s productions reflect his affinity for streamlined, bass-heavy textures. He’s released on respected labels like Toolroom, In Rotation, Love Juice, D4Dance, and Stashed—platforms that resonate with house heads and festival crowds alike. His tracks embody the push-pull tension of well-crafted tech-house, characterized by crisp hi-hats, undulating basslines, and moments of deep, hypnotic release. The results? A steady flow of support from radio giants like BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM.

In 2024, Haskell will step into a new creative phase, teaming up with house music veterans Mark Knight and Gene Farris—two figures who, much like Haskell, know how to work a dancefloor. The collaborations signal a deepening of his artistic voice, promising a series of releases in 2025 that will push his sound into bolder, more experimental territories.

Haskell’s trajectory is one of evolution—both as a DJ who can command the world’s biggest rooms and as a producer capable of delivering tracks that are as intricate as they are club-ready. His work continues to garner attention, not just for its technical proficiency but for its undeniable sense of groove and momentum.

His latest collaboration with Mark Knight & Gene Farris, ‘Go Deep’ is available now on Toolroom.

The tech house aficionado joins our Prima Lux podcast this week with his signature bounce and plethora personal IDs. Enjoy!
