Using the code name Alien Radio, some smart mind managed to convert cosmic radiation into frequencies that tingle the human mind as something audible. These frequencies are quite something… they might actually be classified as an intoxicating stimulant soon, and rightly so!

With the ‘Transponder’ EP, out on Acker Dub, there’s the sparkly splendor of a triple dose of this exquisitely heady stuff. The house bassline, the wavelike, expanding movement of the melodies, and their glittering echoes feel kind of similar to warm wind under a tropical sun. Casual vocals add a dash of humorous coolness here and there. The whole experience is sometimes reminiscent of the finest hours of progressive house. However, there’s also the extraterrestrial origin of these grooves, which finds expression in feelings of deepness and vastness that are hard to describe due to their cosmic dimensions. The combination of these elements makes Alien Radio’s sound as future and pioneering as a space mission.
