Boasting a string of highly sought-after releases on some of the most respected labels in electronic music over the past few years, revered duo Hard To Tell continues their upward trajectory into 2025 with their latest single, ‘Feeling Alright.’ Marking another landmark label debut, the blistering new single drops as part of a carefully curated 6-track package on Laurent Garnier and Oliver Way’s esteemed COD3 QR imprint.

Renowned for their hypnotic grooves and deep, dynamic soundscapes, Hard To Tell — otherwise known as Roy & Roi — have quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting names in underground electronic music, since bursting onto the scene in 2020. Following a slew of successful outings on labels like Innervisions, Sum Over Histories, Siamese, Multinotes and TAU, their latest work sees them push their sound into exciting new territory, having been hand-picked by two of the music industry’s most prominent tastemakers.

Inspired by the raw, unapologetic sounds of 90s Detroit Techno, ‘Feeling Alright’ delivers a mesmerizing journey through feel-good beats, old school vocal samples and driving rhythms, blending the duo’s signature analog warmth with a raw club-ready energy. The track perfectly encapsulates the duo’s knack for balancing raw emotion with impeccable production, creating a sound that is both timeless and forward thinking.

“‘Feeling Alright’ is a track that came together naturally in the studio,” says Hard To Tell. “It’s a reflection of where we are right now — capturing a feeling of release, freedom, and connection through music. Releasing it on COD3 QR, a label known for pushing boundaries, feels like the perfect fit.”

Known for crafting immersive club narratives that think outside the box, Hard To Tell’s music draws influence from a wide spectrum of genres. From Detroit Techno and house to new wave and breakbeat, their productions are a unique blend of muscular functionality and hedonistic suavity, designed to move both bodies and minds on the dancefloor.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Feeling Alright’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
