Stacey Pullen’s Blackflag Recordings kicks off 2025 with a vibrant new release from Colombian DJ/producer Sebastian Xottelo and Peruvean talent JB Martinz. Rising names in the global electronic scene, the pair already boasts an impressive list of releases in their young but promising careers, with Xottelo gracing labels like elrow, Mindshake, Bandidos, and Snatch!, while Martinz has delivered impressive releases on VIVa MUSiC, Circus Recordings, and SB Recordings. Teaming up for the first time for their debut appearance on Blackflag, the pair deliver a Latin-flavored house anthem backed by two dynamic remixes.

The EP opens with the title track ‘Chuchuca,’ a vibrant and infectious dancefloor weapon. Packed with rolling rhythms, captivating grooves, and a touch of Latin flair, the track showcases the duo’s ability to merge influences with forward-thinking production to deliver a groove already captivating dancefloors worldwide.

Adding their own touches, Chris Di Perri and Oravla Ziur step up on remix duties. Hailing from Germany, Di Perri injects a slick, groovy energy into the track with his remix, delivering a refined take on the original’s infectious vibe. Meanwhile, Spain’s Ziur offers a high-octane take, with a tunnelling groove, off-kilter sonics and commanding chants taking things deep into the night.

You can now listen to the full premiere of Oravla Ziur’s ‘Chuchuca’ remix, exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
