Paco Osuna’s record label, Mindshake, presents a Tech House EP by Chicks Luv Us that fuses acid synths and chunky percussion with infectious vocals.

Chicks Luv Us are a French duo from Marseille, internationally known for their upbeat style that is heavily influence by hip hop from the ’80s and ’90s, as well as minimal techno from the ’00s.

They have played shows at world famous nightclubs ranging from Pacha in Ibiza to London’s Ministry of Sound. When it comes to production, they have made waves with top-selling releases on record labels such as Loco Dice’s Desolat and Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations.

This is Chicks Luv Us debut on Mindshake, and it comes after Paco Osuna has spent many years hammering their tracks in his DJ sets.

‘Deliciouz’ opens the release with a rubbery acid bassline layered with a classic hip hop sample and shuffling percussion rhythms. ‘Want U Back’ has tribal drums and trippy vocals layered over a funky acid bassline. ‘Joint’ closes the release with sassy hip hop vocals layered over a warping bassline, while flurries of live percussion fill the groove with energy.
