Kindisch is happy to welcome back UK-based duo Death on the Balcony with their latest release, ‘Windows of the Past’ EP. The combined forces of Mark Caramelli and Paul Hargreaves have been captivating audiences for years with a sound that seamlessly fuses disco, house, and deep techno influences. Known for their releases on celebrated labels such as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, and Kindisch, the duo have built a reputation for crafting emotive, genre-spanning productions that balance rhythmic sophistication with uplifting melodies. Their dedication to musical storytelling and dynamic versatility has made them a staple in the global electronic music scene.

The EP’s first track, ‘This Future,’ is an organic deep house gem, radiating a relaxed and moody yet positive energy. Lush strings and gentle, lullaby-like vocals singing “This future” add a heartfelt touch, creating a warm and inviting soundscape perfect for introspective moments or winding down after a long day.

The second track, ‘Walk My Way,’ takes a more dancefloor-focused approach while maintaining the duo’s signature organic sound. A strong yet understated house beat is complemented by soft strings, a classic piano theme, and tender vocal elements, delivering an elegant groove that bridges energy and emotion with effortless finesse.

The ‘Windows of the Past’ EP showcases Death on the Balcony’s continued ability to deliver heartfelt, timeless music that resonates deeply with their audience.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘The Future’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
