Diversions Music are thrilled to welcome longtime friends and collaborators Wild Dark and Julian Prince to the label with their captivating new EP, ‘Schrödinger’s Cat.’

The duo’s story began at the legendary Club Twilo in New York during Sasha and John Digweed’s iconic residency, where a shared passion for music sparked their creative connection. While they’ve been DJing together since the early 2000s, it wasn’t until a recent reunion that the pair decided to step into the studio. The result? Two extraordinary tracks that embody the spirit of their collaboration.

The EP draws inspiration from Schrödinger’s theory of superposition—the idea that something can exist in multiple states at once. This theme resonates throughout the release, with both tracks blending distant yet intertwined energies, capturing the paradox of being in two places simultaneously. The concept mirrors the duo’s creative process, bridging continents and experiences to create something unique.

After completing the demos, the tracks were road-tested, and played during a car ride in Ibiza with Oxia and Nico Masseyeff, where the EP’s unmistakable energy immediately shone through. Now, the duo are proud to share this powerful and thought-provoking release with the world.
