“Ed and I connected years ago and have had a few writing sessions together over that time but have never released anything. ‘Drifter’ is our first official release. The song came together relatively quickly. Ed sent through a bunch of different ideas and this one really stood out. I was immediately drawn to the rhythmic synth. After a day or so of sound designing, playing around with structure and adding melodic elements, it felt pretty close. I sent it back to Ed and he added the perfect vocals that really suited the vibe. I think ‘Drifter’ manages to blend both our styles and sounds.” – Juno Mamba
