Italian electronic favourite Deborah De Luca returns with much anticipated new album ‘HARD POP VOL2.’ The bumper collection features 25 tracks and is the follow on where the first volume of her widely acclaimed ‘HARD POP’ album left off, while showing some smart studio innovations.

For more than a decade, Deborah de Luca has been laying down her signature sounds across the world’s most revered dance floors. She always pays homage to her roots in the legendary Neapolitan techno scene but brings her innate love of pop and moving melody to everything she does.

So called “Queen of Naples,” Deborah has already released standout albums ‘Ten,’ ‘She Sleeps,’ and volume one of ‘HARD POP’ and has helped to popularize harder techno around the world. This new album is another forward thinking collection that mixes up rave energy, spellbinding vocals, indelible synth craft, and compelling grooves.

‘Nero’ kicks off with hard drums and dark vocals that bring a strobe-lit atmosphere and really sets the tone for the LP. Drums come thick and fast with bangers like ‘Echoes’ and the sensuous vocals of ‘I’m A Criminal’ bring intimacy to the sirens and synths that go off all around.

Elsewhere, there are peak time cuts like ‘Possess You,’ menacing and twisted tracks like ‘Squid’ and frenzied top techno bangers such as ‘Survivor’ which is a sure fire anthem. Valeria Mancini features on the trance-tinged ‘Superstar’ and Deborah remixes originals by both Eddie Brock and Emma Marrone to great effect.

‘HARD POP VOL2’ is another essential standout of the current sound of one of techno’s most influential contemporary figures.

You can now listen to the full, exclusive premieres of ‘Nero’ on When We Dip & ‘Heroine’ on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
