South Africa meets Italy, as Valexx joins forces with Afro Exotiq to deliver the hard-hitting ‘Akua.’

Valerio Capuano, one half of the Italian duo Rayven & Valexx, initiated the project and brought in Afro Exotiq to infuse it with a grittier, darker edge.

Makhubele Bongani, a.k.a. Afro Exotiq, has built a reputation for his consistent and powerful sound, deeply rooted in his African heritage. His signature style places percussion front and center, seamlessly blending it with electronic elements.

The collaboration was sparked on a Wednesday, inspiring the name ‘Akua.’ Their creative synergy results in a high-energy, raw, and uncompromising track designed to shake underground dance floors.

Greek maestro Native P. is sort of becoming an in house name on Iziki by now, consistently delivering top-tier productions. His remix of ‘Akua’ takes a deeper approach while preserving the original’s raw intensity—staying true to his own no-compromise style.
