Öona Dahl, an inter-dimensional artist known for her eclectic, cosmic soundscapes is making her return to Watergate Records. Following the success of her acclaimed ‘Godtripper’ EP from 2020, the US-based DJ, producer, and visualist is back to showcase a multifaceted musical vision with the ‘High Priestesses’ EP.

With this new release, Öona Dahl expands her sonic universe presenting three distinct versions of the title track. The original sets the tone in a progressive techno fashion with its slightly dark but driving atmosphere. ‘Get Higher’ morphs the energy with a dynamic twist into melodic techno territory, while ‘Neo Trance’ dives deeper into the promise hinted at by the track’s addendum. Each version reflects a different facet of her creative identity, offering listeners a complete journey through her artistic sphere.

To complete the package, Öona Dahl has invited Mexican producer Theus Mago to contribute his unique touch with two exclusive remixes. ‘The Chords’ remix channels the spirit of old-school electronica with a subtle, understated groove, while the second remix takes a more contemporary approach, infusing cut-up vocals and a more ravey energy. Together, these reinterpretations round off the EP, making it a versatile addition to the dancefloor and beyond.
