RAYZIR (which is an anagram of his first name Yarriz) is a promising multi-talented DJ, producer, and vocalist from Amsterdam. Born in 1991, he is a true 90’s kid, growing up in a time when electronic music was on the rise. Being involved in this growing music culture from its beginning, has made him a producer that understands the history of dance music. Therefore, making him a multi-faceted electronic musician with a wide understanding of all the different genres that music has to offer and gaining support by the likes of heavyweights in the scene such as Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi and Loco Dice.
RAYZIR has been signed to top quality labels such as Cuttin Headz’, Elrow, Nervous, South of Saturn, MUSE, TBX, Avotre, Microhertz, Cuff and counting. He’s reached the top 5 on Beatport with his music together with Miguel Lobo and had airtime on BBC Radio 1. He’s collaborated with top producers liek Emanuel Satie, Reelow, Iglesias, Proudly People and Daniel Orpi amongst others.
In 2022 during Amsterdam Dance Event, he was selected as one of the 101 artists worldwide as ‘The Future Of Dance’ by 1001Tracklists.com. He performed on Europe’s biggest Elrow Town Festival in The Netherlands where he resides, and is one of the artists on Amsterdam’s critically acclaimed Straf_Werk Festival, with also having played in multiple clubs around the world from Romania and Serbia to Bali.
RAYZIR is known for his uplifting energy behind the decks with, combining the art of DJ’ing with multiple turntables and live remixes. His style is not limited to one genre but is best described as groovy house music with a flavor of deep, tech, and South- American influences.
