25 April 2025

West African born Afro-house sensation AMÉMÉ is to headline Boiler Room’s sold out return to Lagos on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Joining him for this epic homecoming show will be Aniko, Deji, IMJ, Sigag Lauren, SoundsofAce and WeAreAllChemicals B2B Yosa, and the event, which is hosted in collaboration with Group Therapy, runs from 10 PM to 6 AM.

Agenda-setting DJ and producer AMÉMÉ is having a huge year which has already seen him play all over the globe, most recently at Coachella for the second time where he played three standout sets. He continues to serve up plenty of innovative new originals and remixes on labels like Defected Records, Black Book Records, Realm Records and Insomniac Records, including “Feel The Love” with German super-house duo andhim and vocalist Malou and his emotive remix of Angelique Kidjo’s timeless track ‘Agolo.’

AMÉMÉ grew up in Benin in West Africa and spent more than a decade in New York so brings those influences to his unique mix of electronic, African and world music. He is the founder of “One Tribe”, a creative collective that has hosted events everywhere from fabric London and Shelter Amsterdam to House of Yes in Brooklyn while uniting diverse individuals across art, fashion and music.

Now he heads to Lagos for this landmark event where he will showcase his signature ‘AMÉMÉ house’ style for Boiler Room. It is sure to underline AMÉMÉ’s position as a global Afro house ambassador as well as a cultural architect while celebrating his own African identity through electronic music.
