Italian artists Lonely & Michael Js team up on Rekids’ REK’D sublabel with the ‘Libre’ EP. First up, Desolat artist and SICK MODE label boss Lonely drops title track ‘Libre,’ a drummy groove keeping pace along a hypnotic, sultry Latin vocal and an earworm bitcrushed melody. Lonely is then joined by DJ and producer Michael Js, known for his sets at Fotonica Festival, ADE, Space Ibiza, LAB Madrid, and more, for ‘Lonemind,’ featuring a rolling House beat, zippy synthlines and high-impact sampling, closing out the ‘Libre’ EP already supported by the likes of Laurent Garnier, Gina Breeze, and Marco Faraone.

Matt Edwards launched REK’D in October 2024 to release no-nonsense House music without the limitations of parent label Rekids. It has released dancefloor-ready EPs from artists such as St. David, Odee X, James Juke, James Curd, and more.
