Underground new-school house pair THEOS and Chesster hook up to launch their brand new label Blink. It kicks off with a classy three track EP that features one track with El Rod.

Chesster is the alias of Italian Victor Cester, while THEOS is a Frenchman who has shot to prominence especially in the last couple of years. This pair have made a real mark with their DJ sets around Europe and fresh collaborative productions in recent times. They have landed on the likes of Defected, PIV, Dansu, Kaoz, SAKE Records, Factory 93 and many more, and now step up to write a new chapter with Blink.

Opener ‘One’ is a super cool deep house sound with electronic bass that oozes warmth. There is a neon hue to the pads and the well worked vocal is icy and seductive. ‘My Vibe’ feat. El Rod is another classy and rich sound with vast kicks cuddling you from below, as wispy synths bring an airy feel and a brilliantly elastic bassline rolls deep. The aloof vocal is fresh and silky for an extra smooth finish.

Closer ‘Rush Hour’ ups the energy with a more uncut low end but is still a seductive deep house driver with soft pads and a sunny disposition that recalls breezy West Coast US house.
