Heist Recordings returns with another standout release, this time spotlighting a stellar remix from London-based producer and Semi Delicious label head Demi Riquísimo. His take on Cinthie’s ‘Higher’ is a highlight of the Berlin artist’s new Get Up EP—blending golden Detroit-style chords, hypnotic synth leads, and crisp, jacked-up drums to deliver a version that’s equal parts deep and dancefloor-ready.

Originally a rave-driven cut with retro basslines and amped-up vocal loops, ‘Higher’ takes on new life in Demi’s hands. His remix channels the emotional pull of classic US house while retaining the high energy of the original—making it a guaranteed weapon for late-night club sets.

The full EP marks a welcome return for Cinthie to Heist, following her acclaimed Piano Heaven EP in 2023, which won praise from Pete Tong, The Blessed Madonna, and Chloé Caillet. Elsewhere on Get Up, she explores steamy house nostalgia, acid-laced melodies, and organ-fueled grooves with her signature analog flair.

But it’s Demi Riquísimo’s rework that steals the show here—bringing just the right balance of sophistication and raw energy.
