The Scripture is the musical brainchild of UVITA and OSFUR, two established producers in their own right with releases on top labels such as Nervous, Madorasindahouse, Get Physical, and Magnifik between them. Following their recent smash hit ‘Permission To Move’ on the latter, which saw support from big names like Röyksopp and Mind Against, the pair now turn in an epic double A-side for Bedouin’s Human By Default under their newly minted alias The Scripture.

Leading the release is title track ‘AGAMA’, a dramatic ride through deep and heady sonic waters. Spine-tingling synths, hypnotic rhythms, and brooding basslines cast waves of euphoria and tension throughout the track to make for a driving and powerful opener. ‘AREA 3344’ is one to get heads down and feet marching: late-night, organic beats pepper the lithe groove while twinkling pads, heavenly vocals, and mystical leads add cosmic colour.
