Armen Miran’s label Reborn Project unveils a stunning new release that brings together deep musical storytelling and world-class artistry. The EP, ‘New Day’ by Russian producer Mirida, features one original and two carefully chosen reworks, each offering a unique perspective on his sound.
The tracklist unfolds with Mirida’s own ‘New Day’, a rich and hypnotic original composition, before giving way to a mesmerizing remix from Swiss talent Avem. Known for blurring the lines between organic and electronic, Avem reimagines the track into a lush, cinematic journey where subtle textures, intricate percussion, and emotive melodies intertwine. His interpretation is both meditative and dancefloor-ready — a perfect balance that defines his signature style.
Also included in the release is ‘Ghost (Wild Dark Remix)’, a deep and driving reinterpretation that adds a powerful contrast, rounding out the EP with bold energy.
Raised in Russia’s 90s techno scene, Mirida has established himself as one of the main figures in Saint Petersburg’s underground. With standout releases on labels like Toolroom and Chilli Mint, as well as collaborations with artists such as Lazarusman and Aquarius Heaven, Mirida’s reputation for intellectual, deep-leaning sounds continues to grow.
On remix duties, Avem (based in Basel, Switzerland) brings his unique vision to the project. A vital part of the LOKD collective, Avem has released a string of EPs and his acclaimed debut album Dream State in 2023, a work that showcased his most intricate production to date. His live sets and tours have taken him to cities such as New York, Berlin, Paris, and Vienna, as well as festival appearances at Fusion (DE), Garbicz (PL), and Feel (DE). His style merges electronica, house, downtempo, and dub techno into a seamless blend of organic-electronic exploration.
With ‘New Day’, Reborn Project demonstrates once again its commitment to pushing forward-thinking minimalist electronic music.
