Kolibri Live LP marks the debut album of PETRU KSS – a project conceived as a voyage from nature to space and recorded live in the wilderness of Corsica. Blending hardware-driven improvisation with narrative intent, it captures the risks and rewards of creating in the moment, shaping music that is both immersive and unpredictable.

This first release unveils two pieces from the album. Genesis, a cinematic and immersive soundscape opening the journey, sets the course with hypnotic sequences and raw intensity. In contrast, Trieuoppa explores shifting rhythms and layered atmospheres, balancing drive with subtle mystery and movement.

Ryan Davis delivers a cinematic, progressive rework, carefully crafted into an impressive and immersive experience, while An On Bast reshapes Trieuoppa with playful fluidity and hypnotic groove, highlighting her unmistakable live energy.

Mixed by acclaimed engineer Hannes Bieger and mastered at Calyx, the album stands for quality and craft at every stage. Planned for release in Q1 2026, Kolibri Live LP marks an important milestone for PETRU KSS, as he progresses towards the completion of his PhD in electronic music – a statement that, even in an age of AI-driven creation, human risk, imperfection, and imagination remain at the heart of live techno.

To celebrate the launch, a remix contest will run alongside the project – supporting the scene and giving fellow producers the chance to bring their own vision into the Kolibri journey. The contest will be announced shortly – stay alert.
