Amaeo introduces ‘Take Me There,’ the new EP by The Yard Woman, a Greek-born, London-based DJ and producer known for weaving unexpected influences into her electronic sound.

The title track ‘Take Me There’ carries a groovy house pulse, with big claps, gliding stabs, and playful vocal chops. A brief vocal moment — lets bring it down while the music plays — sets the stage for distorted saw pads that push the track into peak energy.

The second track ‘Locked’ reveals a darker side. Built on hard, distorted drums and sharp off-hats, it drives forward with vocal chops and a running synth line reminiscent of an oboe. Its intensity makes it a weapon for the late-night hours.

With ‘Take Me There’, The Yard Woman showcases her ability to move between bright, groove-driven energy and shadowy techno power — always with her signature touch of rhythmic detail and atmosphere.
