Few producers command as much respect in the techno world as Mark Reeve, and his latest outing on Monika Kruse’s Terminal M label proves exactly why. Out now, the ‘Give It Back’ EP delivers two pure peak-time weapons — ‘Give It Back’ and ‘Beats For Days’ — that embody Reeve’s signature blend of drive, power, and precision.

The title track, ‘Give It Back’, hits with pulsating low-end grooves, pounding percussion, and a hypnotic tension that builds toward explosive drops designed for the main stage. ‘Beats For Days’ follows with relentless rhythm and dark, mechanical energy — a perfect balance between grit and euphoria, made for massive spaces like Awakenings or Time Warp.

Mark Reeve’s journey in techno has been nothing short of remarkable. Originally from England, he moved to Germany over 15 years ago to immerse himself in the thriving underground scene. Discovered by Sven Väth, Reeve quickly became a staple across the genre’s most respected imprints, from Drumcode and Afterlife to Cocoon and Soma. His collaborations with heavyweights such as Adam Beyer, Tale of Us, and Pig&Dan have further cemented his legacy as a producer who defines the cutting edge of modern techno.

Beyond the studio, Reeve’s impact as a DJ continues to resonate across the globe. His performances — at iconic venues like Awakenings Gashouder, Space Ibiza, Fabrik Madrid, and Rex Club Paris — are known for their raw energy and deep emotion, blending powerful beats with an unrelenting drive that captivates dance floors.

With ‘Give It Back’, Reeve channels that same intensity into two tracks built for the night’s peak moments — a reminder that he remains one of the most consistent and forward-thinking artists in techno today.

You can now listen to the full premiere of the title track ‘Give It Back’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
