John Monkman joins Henri Bergmann’s label Automatik with ‘Alpha’, a hypnotic dive into shifting rhythms and tension-driven grooves. Known for pushing the boundaries of underground club music, Monkman delivers a kinetic cut rooted in UK-inspired textures and deep low-end movement. Constantly in motion yet laser-focused on the dancefloor, ‘Alpha’ marks a standout debut on the Automatik imprint.

Henri added: “John’s been a close friend for over a decade, we’ve worked together in the past, he’s a DJ’s DJ paying more attention to detailed sonic engineering and synth wizardry than anyone else I know and I’ve been wanting to release his music on my label since it first started. Really excited to be putting this track out today. From the second I heard it I knew it would monster on the dance floor. It starts with a beautiful synth intro and uk grime vocal that stops dead into a raw bass and kick, I always get such a “kick” from the crowd reaction at that unexpected moment.”
