Reskide and Last Passenger make a welcome return to Melody Of the Soul with their new collaborative release, the Horizon EP. Today, we’re pleased to premiere the title track ‘Horizon’, a deep and emotive cut that captures the duo’s shared vision of melodic movement and atmospheric storytelling.

Built around a steady, driving groove, Horizon unfolds with patience and intent. Lush pads stretch across the arrangement while expressive melodic lines slowly rise and fall, creating a sense of forward momentum without ever feeling rushed. The track balances warmth and precision, drawing the listener into a wide, cinematic space that feels equally suited to introspective moments and late-night dancefloors.

Behind the collaboration are two artists with distinct yet complementary backgrounds. Reskide, the alias of Ruslan Kobyakov, is known for his refined approach to Progressive and Organic House, blending subtle rhythmic detail with emotional depth. Last Passenger, a musician from Murmansk in the Russian Federation, brings a textural sensibility that enhances the release’s immersive quality. Together, they shape a sound that feels cohesive, focused, and quietly powerful.

The Horizon EP also includes ‘Stary’, further exploring the duo’s melodic language and reinforcing the release’s sense of continuity and flow. Following their previous appearance on Melody Of the Soul’s Soul Sampler II compilation, this EP marks a confident step forward in their ongoing relationship with the label.
